LETTER REPORT
A letter report is a snapshot of the property’s title. The property is searched from the last deed forward. This is not insured by the title company.
 
SEARCH AND HOLD
A search and hold is a bare minimum, preliminary search of the property. Realtors usually use this to have an advanced look at what may need to be handled prior to closing.
